The Rural Insight survey is a comprehensive overview of the opinions and experiences of rural England and its inhabitants.

Drawing on extensive contacts with rural communities and organisations, the Rural Insight survey canvassed the views of more than 1,300 people.

The conclusions highlight the economic, social and environmental opportunities and challenges surrounding rural issues.

The survey is a joint initiative by economic development practitioners Rose Regeneration and Ruralcity Media, with support from the Rural Services Network.

Together, we develop and promote fresh ideas to inform local, sub-regional and national policies so they benefit rural people and the countryside.
